WRS Names New Vice President Of Mid-Atlantic Operations

Online, May 19, 2010 (Newswire.com) - WRS, a leading restoration and construction company, has named Jon Roop VP of Mid Atlantic Operations

Jon Roop will oversee all sales and marketing for the company's recent expansion to the DC area. In his new position, he will take immediate responsibility for building and implementing strategies for revenue growth for WRS. Mr. Roop will also head up business development in the DC area and continue to build strategic relationships with corporate clients.

Jon brings WRS a wealth of battle-tested expertise in construction management and emergency response. Jon is recently retired from the United States Air Force where he served in various special-duty engineer billets at all levels; including the Pentagon and Joint Staffs, as well as commanding at the squadron, group, and wing. Early in his career he served as a foreign military sales construction program manager for the Royal Saudi Air Force. He brings extensive experience coordinating host nation logistics for deployed forces during the first Gulf War and emergency humanitarian operations in Africa. He also earned a Bronze Star for meritorious service in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
