Online, January 28, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Knowledge Park based Greater Noida Institute of Technology witnessed a successful placement week. Internationally known big companies like Microsoft, provide placement opportunities to the students of GNIOT. The team of company representatives was comprised of VP, HR Head, General Manager- HR, Executive HR, and Senior Executive HR. The team got a warm welcome by Prashant Khare- Placement Officer, GNIOT. The week-long event was effectively headed by Dr. Ruby Gupta, Mr. Prashant Khare and Mr. Anas Ansari. The placements were for students of B. Tech, MCA, and MBA/PDGM. More than 700 Students sat down for test from B.Tech batch, 500 from MBA, and nearly 200 from MCA. Students were selected for good designations like Financial Analyst, Kinect Jockey, Management Trainee, Senior Management Trainee, Operations Trainee, Sales Trainee, Service Engineer, Sales Engineer, and Customer Service Executive. Selected Students got highest package of 4.20 lakh per annum and Average package of 2.40 lakh per annum. The test modes for placement were online test, Group Discussion and interview.
On the occasion, Mr. Prashant Khare- Placement Officer said that we organize such recruitment programs with the motive of providing a head start in students' careers in the areas of Management and Engineering. The whole week was engaged with placement procedures. Students were also explained about opportunities and benefits of working in multinational companies. Students presented great enthusiasm and excitement for this placement as they had been working very hard for it and it was the time for them to show their capabilities.
