Viva Live Music Promotes Charity Event

Viva Live Music set to help out at a charity "Britains got Talent Style" competition.

Viva Live Music director, Susan Heaton Wright is delighted to be supporting the Reach Out Plus talent show which starts this week. Susan said "We are delighted to support young talent in the Hertfordshire area. As a musician, I had support and assistance from experienced performers at the start of my career and am happy to pass on my experience and expertise to the next generation of performers. Standing up in front of audiences and friendly judges is an invaluable experience for talented young people. As a judge I will be ensuring the experience is a positive one for every performer". Viva Live Music is the specialist live music company, providing a variety of bespoke live entertainment for corporate and private events including Gala Dinners, Bar mitzvahs, weddings, celebrations and award ceremonies.

The brand new annual talent event hopes to source the best and most talented people in the area. Talent 2012 is open to anyone aged over 14 with any talent! We expect singers, dancers, comedians, magicians to take part and we are hoping for unusual acts too (No fire or Animals allowed though).

Three heats will take place, one in St Albans on 21st April, one in Hemel Hempstead on 28th April and one in Watford on 12th May. From these heats 15 acts will be chosen to perform in the final in front of a live audience on 30th June at the prestigious Watford Palace Theatre.

This event is being run as a partnership between Vibe 107.6 FM , Watford's newest radio station that is very popular for 13-25 year olds and Reach Out Plus, a local Herts Based charity who support over 4,000 people with disabilities across Herts. The money raised will go to support vital projects including residential canal boat holidays for disabled people.

Matt Cadman a Director for Vibe 107.6 said "It is vital as a youth led community radio station that we help support organisations and charities within the South Hertfordshire area - in particular helping those charities reach out to young people. Talent 2012 promises to be an amazing event and I hope to see lots of young participants look to take part as this event is one that is going to be big".

The winner will receive a trophy, press coverage and be asked perform at the ReachOut Annual Ball on 13th October. They will also receive a canal boat trip for up to 12 people to celebrate! Debbie Gilbert, who is organising this event in aid of ReachOut Plus commented 'We are very excited about this event and hope not only to raise money but awareness of the fantastic work the charity does in supporting people with disabilities.'
