Leeds (I-Newswire) October 28, 2010 - A ground-breaking service that enables a vehicle to automatically alert incident managers when it is involved in a collision has been announced by Incident Support Group (ISG).

The system, which uses impact sensors, telematics and black box technology, will directly contact ISG and other interested parties when the vehicle to which it is fitted is subject to an impact. This allows ISG to contact the driver, the authorities and, if necessary, the emergency services.

In addition to providing a rapid response to a potentially serious situation, ISG Sense will reduce costs. Because ISG contacts the driver as soon as the incident has taken place, details can be captured and the appropriate courses of action are taken immediately.
