VacuPractor Releases Back Pain Survey Results of Licensed Massage Therapists

A Poll Conducted Reveals A High Incidence of Lower Back Pain Among LMTs.

VacuPractor, a provider of devices for lower back pain treatment, today announced the results of a survey of Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT) on the incidence of lower back pain. The poll was conducted on the Linkedin NCBTMB and AMTA groups. This was the first national social networking privacy survey to be conducted by VacuPractor for this cohort.

Given that VacuPractor's focus is on helping individuals suffering from lower back pain get the relief they need, the study was entitled "Back Pain." According to CEO of VacuPractor, Paul Hagen, "It is significant to get an accurate view from health care professionals on their personal experience with chronic lower back pain and their interest in low back pain treatment."

Mr Hagen continues, "Understanding LMT's personal view on the frequency of back pain and the importance of low back pain relief, is paramount for VacuPractor to continue to make the efficacy of its product known among licensed massage therapists, pain relief providers and doctors.

"This survey was designed to elicit precisely the type of experiences and direct observations of medical professionals who deal with back pain every day. We also designed it to help demonstrate the need to make health care professionals aware of the VacuPractor as a unique device for lower back pain management."

Nearly two-thirds of the respondents, a surprising 64 percent of Licensed Massage Therapists, indicated they have lower back pain either daily or occasionally. Introduction of the survey to the two LinkedIn groups above has sparked spirited, ongoing discussions among numerous members of the Licensed Massage Therapy community on the social network.
