Online, February 16, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The Magic Air Cap is a specially designed cap mechanism for use on vehicle tire air fill valves, with the cap designed to be permanently affixed to the valve system. It is designed to provide consumers an easy to use alternative to the traditional fill valve caps, and one which would remain firmly attached to the tire at all times, preventing the cap from being misplaced or lost. The Magic Air Cap is a specially designed fill valve cap that is to be installed over the actual tire valve stem, with the device left in place when checking the air pressure or adding air to the tires. This would prevent loss of the cap when filling the tires with air. It would be comprised of a hollow, cylindrical shaped adapter designed to be applied over the existing valve stem.
Designed to be an aftermarket accessory, this device could be easily retrofitted to any existing tire valve, with sizes made available to accommodate the valve stems of all vehicle tires. A simple twist and pull down release mechanism would be incorporated into the design of the cap and valve lock that would enable the user to open the cap covering while allowing it to still remain attached to the adapter system. This will eliminate the need to hold or store the cap while accessing the fill valve. Televised test marketing has been complteted indicating strong consumer interest in the Magic Air Caps.
