"The Hostage Game" Gets September Release
"The Hostage Game" is an action-packed thriller that stars the late Corey Haim, Frank Molina It will be released domestically on September 10, 2013 by Osiris Entertainment.
Hollywood, CA (I-Newswire) August 21, 2013 - Global Entertainment Holdings, Inc. (OTC: GBHL) announced today that "The Hostage Game" will be released domestically on September 10, 2013 by Osiris Entertainment.
"The Hostage Game" is an action-packed thriller that stars the late Corey Haim, Frank Molina (Red Passport) and Bernard Robichaud (Trailer Park Boys).
The producer of "The Hostage Game", Jackie Giroux, stated that Corey was "a consummate professional who elevated what might otherwise be seen as a 'formula' picture". Haim achieved initial fame in the late 80's after appearing in Joel Schumacher's successful feature picture "The Lost Boys", and was well known to TV audiences for numerous series (The Two Coreys) and various TV movie appearances. He was also named one of the "Top 100 Greatest Kid Stars" by VH1. Haim died unexpectedly at the age of 38, shortly after production of "The Hostage Game" was completed.
Evan Crooke, CEO of Osiris Entertainment, commented, "Osiris Entertainment is extremely proud to bring Corey Haim's best performance to his fans." Osiris expects "significant business from this wellcrafted picture, especially with Corey's still adoring fan base."
According to Gary Rasmussen, CEO of Global Entertainment Holdings, "This new relationship with Osiris Entertainment adds significant distribution strength to our domestic sales and is expected to produce a source of ongoing income for our company." This film wasn't able to get the domestic market push it deserved until now, due to the state of the U.S. economy. Global Entertainment plans to commence foreign sales efforts for "The Hostage Game" after it's domestic release on September 10th.
