Online, February 20, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The Doggy Rest is a specially designed animal waste collection device to use with your pets. It is designed to provide the consumer, especially those with limited mobility, an easy means of collecting and discarding animal waste. It would make the retrieval of dog or other pet waste easier by offering an easy means of cleaning up after their pet. The Doggy Rest would have an elongated, adjustable handle measuring several feet long when fully extended. A locking mechanism would enable the user to adjust the handle to the desired length. At the end of the handle would be a rectangular shaped chamber, inside of which a specially configured cartridge, preloaded with biodegradable waste collection bags would be inserted. A push button would release a single bag into the collection tray. A second switch would be used to release the bag from the framework once the waste has been collected.
The Doggy Rest would make it easy for dog lovers to clean up after their pet. Unlike plastic scoops that have to be cleaned after each use, the waste bags with the Doggy Rest would enable the pet owner to dispose of the waste without making direct contact.
