The Boot Jack Makes Removal of Footwear Easy

This is a unique assistive apparatus designed to aid in the removal of boots and other footwear. It is perfect for anyone with limited mobility chronic back pain.

New York (I-Newswire) February 12, 2014 - The Boot Jack is an assistive apparatus that is specially designed to aid in the removal of boots and other footwear. With this simple, washable, rectangular device positioned on the floor, the user steps on the unit with one foot to hold it down and inserts the heel of the other leg's boot or shoe in the "V" shaped cutout that is sized appropriately to accommodate any type of footwear.

As the boot or shoe is now anchored in place, it will slide off the foot with an easy upward pull of the leg. It can be used in both a standing or seated position. The Boot Jack measures approximately sixteen inches in length and twelve inches in width. Televised test marketing has been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Boot Jack.

The Patent Pending Boot Jack was invented by Patrick Trio of Holmes, PA, who said, "The Boot Jack provides those with limited physical capabilities, including chronic back pain, with a simple, pain-free means of removing one's boots and other footwear. Also, I believe this will provide a safe, sanitary and infection-free removal of boots and shoes for those in the medical, surgical, dental and construction fields. It works perfectly."
