Online, February 11, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The Boot Jack is an assistive apparatus that is specially designed to aid in the removal of boots and other footwear. With this simple, washable, rectangular device positioned on the floor, the user steps on the unit with one foot to hold it down and inserts the heel of the other leg's boot or shoe in the "V" shaped cutout that is sized appropriately to accommodate any type of footwear.
As the boot or shoe is now anchored in place, it will slide off the foot with an easy upward pull of the leg. It can be used in both a standing or seated position.
