Wade is overturned, explores what happens when an unidentified young woman is found dead after an alleged "termination" in an inner-city tenement. The woman turns out to be the daughter of an ultra-conservative US Senator, launching an exploration of conspiracies and proposed social reforms.

Raynor, a married mother of three, spent over a decade researching abortion rights. She spent thousands of hours researching police reports, press clippings, and interviews with women whose lives have been affected by the landmark Roe decision.
