TechBridge is pleased to announce the completion of its 9th Habitat house, in partnership with 12 Corporate Sponsors and Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. Keys were turned over to the new homebuyer at the June 20, 2013, dedication ceremony for the home.

TechBridge, a nonprofit that leverages technology to empower the nonprofits that impact our community, is pleased to announce the completion of its ninth Technology Community Habitat house, in partnership with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. Keys were turned over to the new homebuyer at the June 20, 2013, dedication ceremony for the home.

Twelve corporate sponsors joined together to donate $80,000 to help fund the project, representing their commitment to impacting our community in a positive way. In addition to the funds donated, the sponsors provided volunteers to complete the home located in southwest Atlanta. The group also donated $2,000 to TechBridge in appreciation for its project management services for the build.

TechBridge is grateful for the dedication of its sponsors and their IT professionals, with special acknowledgement to the corporate sponsors who have participated in its annual Atlanta Habitat project since inception in 2005: Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, GE, Southern Company, Synergis and The Coca-Cola Company. Pyramid Consulting has participated since 2006, and CCCi has participated since 2007. Additionally InterContinental Hotels Group, Landis+Gyr, MDI Group and Teradata Corporation, have all been sponsors since 2010 with CTS, Inc. joining this year as the newest sponsor.

Keeping with the theme of technology, the sponsors gifted to the new homeowners a printer, a gift card, and a computer equipped with software, generously donated by Microsoft. The Coca-Cola Company kindly donated beverages to help keep volunteers well hydrated throughout the project.

"The TechBridge Technology Community Build has continued to provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships among Atlanta's corporations while making a meaningful difference in the lives of a local family," said TechBridge CEO James Franklin. "We are grateful for the commitment from all of our sponsors to improve our community through their support of TechBridge."
