mbai based Teamgum has been selected by The Next Web Conference Europe for their BOOST program which is taking place in Amsterdam on the 24th and 25th of April. Teamgum is chosen as one of only 90 startups that will participate in the selective BOOST program at the conference.

Teamgum, a browser extension is the simplest way for teams to share and collaborate over webpages. It leverages the fact that most users discover knowledge on the internet and enables them to share web links without leaving the browsing page. Teamgum helps connect external and internal social networks and make knowledge more accessible as it shows all relevant webpages shared between the team directly on google search at the time of need.

With Teamgum all the teammates can look at what webpages each others are sharing without actually leaving the browsing tab or disturbing the browsing experience. It lets users research on a topic using tags quickly on a click of a button and then collaborate over the webpages using annotations, comments, recommendations etc. Also knowledge sharing which has traditionally been a non priority and a tedious task has been simplified by Teamgum.

Mieke Burggraaff tweets "have you heard of @teamgumHQ? I think their tool shows a refreshing look at mobile collaboration. Launched at #socialnow"

"Going to the root of the problem analysis says that users do not build knowledge bases because its tedious to do it and also users are more comfortable searching on google than into different internal and external social networks and knowledge bases" says Jinen Dedhia, Co-Founder of Teamgum.

Teamgum not only lets you connect your external and internal social networks so knowledge discovery is easier and sharing is even simpler but also throws the results from all networks back onto the google search page itself so users need not search multiple times on different networks.

Teamgum has a extension on Google Chrome, Safari and Opera. Firefox is under review and will be up soon. It also has native mobile apps on iPhone, Android and Blackberry so that users can share and discover while on the go.

Divyesh Kharade, Co-Founder of Teamgum points out at the end "We showcased first in Amsterdam on the 6th of April at Social Now and were voted as the coolest product and feature amongst other nominations from Jive, SAP, IBM, Atos demonstrating the new trend of even larger companies working in smaller and effective teams"
