Fayetteville, NC (I-Newswire) July 26, 2012 - The Professional Bull Riding (PBR) Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) returns to action August 10th & 11th in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a summer break. Team Blue-Emu riders, including LJ Jenkins who is currently ranked #2 in the world & fan favorite JB Mauney , will be in attendance at the event.

“It’s been a good break. We’ve had some injuries we needed to heal up and some practice the guys wanted to get in,” Blue-Emu inventor Richard Guy explained. “We’re rested and ready to go. I’m confident the team will ride strong and stay strong though the finals.”

Mauney suffered a broken hand in late March and had surgery to repair the damage. After a short recovery time, he stunned everyone by returning to riding with his opposite riding hand. By his second event after switching hands, he was completing the required 8 second ride in order to receive a score.

"I'm feeling stronger," JB Mauney said. "I went to Calgary and rode 5 out of 6 bulls there and that felt great, so I feel ready."

Mauney’s brother-in-law and fellow Team Blue-Emu rider Shane Proctor, who suffered a broken arm at the end of the 2011 season, has been riding in other events to build up strength and points in his standing. Recently he took a first place finish at California Rodeo in Salinas.
