SEE Science Center Unveils New Exhibit - Science Starts In The Kitchen With Chef Nicole®!

The "Science In The Kitchen With Chef Nicole!" exhibit will formally open on Wednesday, December 18, admission will be 1/2 off and children will receive a free kids' meal coupon from T-BONES and Cactus Jack's.

Just in time for the holiday vacation season, the SEE Science Center opens their newest exhibit "Science In The Kitchen With Chef Nicole!" The exhibit, donated by Great NH Restaurants, was created by their own Corporate Chef, Nicole Barreira, known for her dedication to healthy food and getting children involved in meal preparation at an early age.

The exhibit features a "kid-sized" kitchen display, where children can get familiar with the in's and out's of a real kitchen, and how much fun it is to be involved in the planning and preparation of meals. Children can pretend to be the Chef of the day by donning the Chef Nicole kids' chef hats and aprons as they learn and play with mini stoves, sinks and refrigerators. The new exhibit also features plenty of information on the science behind eating healthy and includes facts and tips that will surprise and enlighten even the adult visitors!

The "Science In The Kitchen With Chef Nicole!" exhibit will formally open on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 10:30am with a ribbon-cutting by Chef Nicole and SEE Executive Director Douglas Heuser. The media is invited to attend as well as the general public.

Chef Nicole will introduce the exhibit to young attendees including her own two daughters. "Cooking together is one of the best ways for families to spend quality time together and for parents to get their youngsters on the right path toward healthy living. I hope this interactive display will inspire everyone to enjoy cooking as much as I do. After all, food tastes better with family!" states Chef Nicole. "We are so pleased to unveil this new display right now. This time of year it's a great thing for parents to do with kids during holiday vacation times. While one parent is doing the holiday shopping, the other brings the children to SEE for a great learning experience," stated Heuser, during the set-up of the unique interactive display. On Wednesday, December 18th to celebrate the opening, admission will be half price. Also, children will receive a free kids' meal coupon from T-BONES and Cactus Jack's, and all who join in the festivities will be entered to win one of 10 T-BONES/Cactus Jack's $25 gift certificates.
