Why did she pick this song from the competition's song list? She explains: "Ever since I was three, I've known that my 'Greatest Love of All' is singing. I even have a cassette tape from when I was five, belting out this song on a day I told my parents I was sick so I could stay home from school to make my own show."
The incredible worldwide judges for the Avon Voices Competition include Diane Warren, Fergie, Natasha Beddingfield, Deltra Goodrem, Lea Salonga, Sheila E, David Pack, Maia, Diego Torres, Ivete Sangalo, and Valeriya.
Those judges will select approximately 200 contestants from the 5,587 to move on to round one on March 8, 2011. As of the morning of March 2, she is doing well quickly moving forward in the competition ranked close to 300, but needs your support to ensure that she will be noticed by the judges and would be honored to have the opportunity to work with them. With just 100 votes away, it's you who can help her have this opportunity.
The privileged contestants who are selected for round one will not only have the chance to work with these music industry professionals, but they will also fly to global destinations and be treated to glamorous Avon makeovers. Additionally, the finalists get to sing with the Avon Voices celebrities to record the Avon Voices Anthem, a Diane Warren original song. Portions of the proceeds from the sales of the song will be donated to the "Avon Foundation for Women for its Global Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Girls." Perhaps the most exciting part though is that if she wins, she will record a professionally produced and developed album as both the general worldwide winner, for which she is competing, and the Avon Representative winner will each be privileged with this once in a lifetime opportunity.
