Saama Appoints Scott Kleinberg as New CFO

Online, October 4, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Saama Technologies, a leading pure-play data science solutions and services company, today announced it has named Scott Kleinberg as chief financial officer. Kleinberg will play an instrumental role in accelerating the company's growth through financial strategy and planning on a global scale and will be a key liaison between Saama and external parties, such as investors, bankers, auditors and attorneys.

Kleinberg, a 25-year veteran of the finance and technology Industry, has held CFO, VP and director positions and has specific expertise in financing, M&A, budgeting, forecasting and planning with international growth experience. Most recently he was chief financial officer at mBlox, a $140M company in the mobile messaging space. Prior to that, Kleinberg served as CFO to PacketMotion and CoWare, in which he successfully sold PacketMotion Inc. to VMware, and CoWare Inc. to Synopsys. Kleinberg has held executive positions with several other technology companies and spent seven years with KPMG in its high technology audit practice.

Kleinberg holds a M.B.A. from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. He also has a B.A. degree from Westmont College with a major in Economics and a minor in Political Science.
