Royal Palisade Is A Platinum Sponsor Of Stratford Winterfest 2013
Royal Palisade Retirement Community is a Platinum sponsor of Stratford Winterfest 2013 which was held from January 18-20, 2013. They had a tent for food and information where a cup of hot chocolate or soup was enjoyed and hosted an ice slide.
Online, February 11, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Royal Palisade Retirement Community has joined the City of Stratford as a Platinum Level sponsor of Stratford Winterfest 2013. This year's Winterfest took place January 18 through 20 in Lower Queen's Park and the theme was Fire and Ice. As part of the sponsorship, Royal Palisade provided ice slide rides all day on both Saturday and Sunday. The slide provided youngsters about forty feet of slippery enjoyment. In addition, a booth where people were able come to warm up on a hot cup of soup or hot chocolate while they gathered information was also provided.
As part of this three-day community event, Royal Palisade hosted a Friday Casino Night and Dinner. The dinner was held from 4:30 to 8:30 on January 18th. Those who attended found a buffet dinner as well as a variety of casino games available for playing. The games included Crown & Anchor, Bingo, Plinko, Beat the Dealer, and Black Jack. Citizens who attended received chips to use for playing the games in hopes of winning prizes in one of the drawings.
The Fire and Ice Theme of this year's Stratford Winterfest brought the Fire Guy who performed three shows a day on Saturday and Sunday to represent Fire, while the Ice Slide sponsored by Royal Palisade was one of the big Ice attractions. There were many free and paid activities available for the entire family, with dance performances, a puppet tent, the obstacle course, scavenger hunt, train rides, boli-ball, outdoor skating and many other events.
Visitors warmed up with soup or hot chocolate and in the Festival Marquee Room where movies were playing for the kids. Music was playing in the park all day and a large turnout was seen.
