"To have four Demo teams is incredible and the value of a WONG Air Show ticket just went up substantially."

The CF-18 Hornet teams brings a multi-purpose, high performance twin-engine jet fighter to Rome that can travel at twice the speed of sound while handling both air-to-air ground combat options. Captain Patrick "Flocho" Pollen leads the entire demonstration team under the theme, "The Common Thread" exhibiting Canadian images such as Terry Fox, the national flag and other popular Canadian national symbols.

Besides these four premier Demo Teams, there will be eight other aerobatic Demo Teams performing during this event. Included will be Stunt Performances, Jump Teams, Aerial Comedy, two War Bird Demonstrations, as well as the Bill Braack Jet Car that travels between 0-400 mph in 8.5 seconds. "The entertainment just increased to five and a half hours of continuous aerial performances, non-stop," according to Cowman.

The fans who attend will also be treated to a large display of Static Aircraft, an Aviation Fly-in, a World class Kids Zone, and a Kansas City BBQ sanctioned Smoke-n-Thunder BBQ Classic event.
