Hip-Hop mogul Rick Ross, one of the most consistent hit-makers in the music business, and ranked among Forbes' list of hip-hop top earners, continues to keep stages across the country hot. The Island Def Jam artist and Founder of the Maybach Music Group empire, will take center stage as the headline act for one of the most anticipated concerts in DC. Presented by SFI Live LLC, the show will take place at DAR Constitution Hall; Also featured on the show is Island Def Jam label-mate and R&B singer, Jeremih.

Rick Ross' musical skills, prolific lyricism, smart songwriting and ear for beats, has Ross revered as one of the finest on the music scene. With the release of his highly anticipated upcoming fifth solo album, God Forgives...I Don't, (includes a song collaboration with Nicki Minaj), and new mixtape, "Rich Forever" Ross remains focused on continuing his streak of hit records. "I'm excited to see the response to this album - I expect it to be bigger than my previous one," expressed Ross in a previous Rolling Stone interview.

Ross has shown musical skills far beyond most of his peers. In 2010, his critically acclaimed album, Teflon Don was ranked as The Best Album of the Year by a New York Times music critic. Ross, whose collaborations on tracks include high profile cameos with Drake, Kanye West and Lil Wayne, openly pays homage to MC's like EPMD, Ice Cube, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim and Cool G as the pioneers who has influenced him in music.

The savvy businessman recently signed DC rapper Wale into the fold of his MMG collective. The Maybach rapper, and former MC for the MTV Video Awards has had a phenomenal mixtape run which included 100 Miles and Running, The Mixtape About Nothing,
Back To The Feature, and a sure-shot debut single, "Chillin'," which featured pop icon Lady Gaga. Wale was recently named Source Magazine's 2011 Comeback Artist of the Year, for the success of his sophomore album, Ambition.

The February 23rd performance will also feature the talent of Island Def Jam R&B singer Jeremih, who scored big on the scene with his self-titled album and debut single, "Birthday Sex." The Chicago music aficionado, who has collaborated on songs with 50 Cents and Ludacris, is a self-taught musician who plays
saxophone, bass drum, cymbals, quan, several percussion instruments and piano.
