Matthew J. Hammer, PG
Hammer is a hydrogeologist who works in RETTEW's Canton office in the geosciences division. He is responsible for identifying surface and groundwater sources, creating water resource management plans and obtaining environmental clearances for one of RETTEW's key natural gas clients involved in natural gas exploration and production in the Utica Shale play. He also provides project management and oversight. Hammer is a registered professional geologist with 13 years of environmental consulting experience; he has worked with industrial, solid waste and public-sector clients. He specializes in quantitative hydrogeology, including aquifer test design, implementation and evaluation, and in numerical and analytical groundwater modeling. Hammer has a bachelor's degree in geology from Miami University and a master's degree in geological sciences from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the National Groundwater Association, the Northern Ohio Geological Society and the Solid Waste Association of North America. He resides in the City of Stow, Summit County, Ohio.

Griffith L. D. Jones
Jones is a project manager in RETTEW's energy services division. Working primarily from the firm's Mechanicsburg office, he is responsible for providing project management and oversight on projects for clients involved in natural gas exploration and production in the Marcellus and Utica Shale plays. In addition to managing staff, he works with clients and regulatory agencies to obtain environmental clearances for projects. He is also responsible for quality assurance/quality control and business development. Jones has more than 30 years of engineering and environmental consulting experience, which includes his managing temporary waterlines for gas production operations in Ohio's Utica Shale play. He is also well versed in wetland delineation, permitting, mitigation design and construction oversight and monitoring, stream assessments, highway noise studies, geographic information systems (GIS), environmental site assessments and stream restoration. Jones has a bachelor's degree in land management from the University of Sydney and a master's degree in geo-environmental studies from Shippensburg University. He resides in Camp Hill, Cumberland County, Pa.

Jason E. Miller, PE
Miller is a land development project manager in RETTEW's Canton office. Miller works with one of RETTEW's key clients involved in natural gas exploration and production in Ohio's Utica Shale play. In his role, he is responsible for designing and providing project management for water impoundment facilities and well pads. He provides quality control oversight and reviews land development plans, ensuring they meet state regulatory standards. Miller has more than ten years of land development, land acquisition and construction management experience. His expertise includes residential subdivisions, commercial and retail development and utility-scale renewable energy projects. He is a registered professional engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Akron. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and resides in Portage Lakes, Summit County, Ohio.

Dawn E. Thorpe
Thorpe is a senior environmental scientist in RETTEW's natural sciences division. Working from the firm's Athens office, she works with state and federal agencies on behalf of RETTEW's natural gas clients to obtain the appropriate environmental clearances for pipeline, well pad and impoundment projects. She is also tasked with conducting wetland delineations and ecological assessments to provide environmentally sound recommendations for proposed developments. Thorpe has more than 11 years of environmental consulting experience and has worked with developers and industrial clients. She has also worked with utilities in Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania state agencies. Thorpe has also conducted various ecological studies including water quality analysis, stream channel and watershed assessments, fisheries studies, Phase I Bog Turtle assessments and macroinvertebrate identification. She has a bachelor's degree in biology from Dickinson College. She resides in Sayre, Bradford County, Pa.
