Prithvi Information Solutions, a global IT and telecom service provider has appointed Dr. Chahram Zolfaghari to the position of Senior Vice President of Telecom, Americas. This signals further advancement in this rapidly growing market.
Online, December 1, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Prithvi Information Solutions, a global IT and telecom service provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Chahram Zolfaghari to the position of Senior Vice President of Telecom, Americas. Chahram joins the company's Brazil operations, where Prithvi is seeing strong demand for its specialized 3G network services. He will split his time between South and North America.
With more than 16 years of experience in wireless network rollouts and consulting in the telecom industry, Dr. Zolfaghari has a long track record of executive, operational, and business development success. He joins Prithvi from WFI in Latin America (prior to its acquisition by TetraTech) where he was President and Managing Director for South America. He has held various management and technical positions throughout his career at MSI, eWS, and Nexius Wireless in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America.

Chahram Zolfaghari holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Telecommunications in France. He obtained his PhD in signal processing from Orsay University, France.
