Fashion Designers Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Long Island Family Entertainment also known as L.I.F.E. Presents Fashion Over Style; a charity event for breast cancer.

Fashion designers Dutch Creations, Light But Heavy, Rastafori and Kid Bully have all teamed up for the cause; raising the level of breast cancer awareness and raising money to fund breast cancer research through the American Cancer Society. All proceeds will add to the $57,000 already raised by Making Strides of Brookly, New York. The Brooklyn chapter of Making Strides consists of 746 teams and 1,526 participants. The official L.I.F.E. donation page can be found at main.acsevents.org/goto/LIFE.

The “Fashion Over Style” charity event will take place on October 17, 2014 at Tropical Reflections Ballroom. “Just looking to raise money and awareness” says Seajay; the on staff event promoter. No official goals as far as amounts of money to be raised, but obviously looking to make a difference as donations will help more than 2.9 million breast cancer survivors celebrate another birthday this year!
