'Portrait of a Nation - Equatorial Guinea' Wins Award Of Excellence At Los Angeles Movie Awards

EPIC Global Media's latest production, focusing on developments in Equatorial Guinea has been recognized at the 2011 Los Angeles Movie Awards (LAMA), earning an Award of Excellence in the Documentary Short category.

EPIC Global Media is pleased to announce that 'Portrait of a Nation - Equatorial Guinea', has won an Award of Excellence at the Los Angeles Movie Awards (LAMA). The production, which is the latest episode in EPIC's 'Portrait' series that aims to challenge stereotypes by presenting positive stories and developments from around the world, was honored in the 'Documentary Short' category.

The mission of the Los Angeles Movie Awards is "to celebrate Independent Motion Picture and Literary Arts by providing a platform for filmmakers and writers to have an opportunity to be awarded for their work."

'Portrait of a Nation - Equatorial Guinea', premiered on CNBC Europe on Saturday April 30th and was aired three further times on the channel.
