Novel Cafe Announces the Resurgence of Koreatown's Art Walk

Experience the diversity of the LA art scene at Novel Cafe, the last Thursday of the month.

Due to increased demand, the owners of Koreatown's Novel Cafe have announced the resurgence of the K-town Artwalk, which will continue to take place on the last Thursday of every month, starting this February. The event will take place at Novel Cafe's Koreatown location, both on the patio and inside the main dining room. This Month's festival will feature some local artists from around LA, including Kristin Gray, Sebastian Roche, Sey Me and Lena Penrose, as well as a live art performance by Graffiti artist Poundin Heart and music by Novel's resident DJ Jonny Maven. Among the festival's goals is to celebrate the cultural diversity of Los Angeles while bringing a greater sense of community engagement to K-town.

Novel Cafe's Owner was determined to bring back the Koreatown Artwalk, siting that it filled a need in the community for a creative outlet and a place of peaceful cultural communication. He put it like this : "Why not reward the artists of Koreatown and Los Angeles with the opportunity to shine the brightest at one of the easiest to find hidden gems in Los Angeles? Can you think of a better spot to aspire together and inspire each other?"

So stop in to Novel Cafe from nine thirty PM to two AM to soak in some atmosphere, vibe out to music and enjoy a cocktail or two at their fabulous bar. Participation looks like going to be through the roof for the newest extension of LA's burgeoning art scene, so come in early to beat the rush!
