North Ambergris Caye Real Estate About to Appreciate with New Road.

With the announcement and commencement of construction to pave the road for three miles on North Ambergris Caye, Belize, the real estate market is gearing up for tremendous appreciation in the immediate future.

Residents and visitors alike are celebrating the commencement of paving the road through the popular beach and resort area north of the Barry Bowen Bridge. It is the first phase of infrastructural road improvement under a $3 million cooperative sponsorship by the San Pedro Town Council and the Government of Belize. From the Paradise Theater, past Reef Village, and up through the Tres Cocos area, concrete pavement will be applied beginning at the end of May, initially proceeding three miles north, approximately to the Grand Caribe Resort. The Mayor of San Pedro, Danny Guerrero, confirms the plans, stating, "This will improve the tourism product on northern Ambergris Caye and even possibly increase the value of real estate." There is much Belize real estate still to be developed in northern Ambergris Caye, the top 20 miles of La Isla Bonita's total 27-mile long length. Both sides of the island offer panoramic water views, with dense mangrove bordering lagoon views to the west side and the beautiful Belize Barrier Reef protecting the white sand beachfront of the east.
