New JEE6 Workflow Engine

This means that a business process is typical controlled by the user. A Worklfow Management System - also called WFMS or Workflow System - controls the flow of a document or datasheet between the different users.

The Imixs Workflow provide users with all necessary information during a business process, like task lists, a process documentation or messaging features. With the eclipse based Imixs modeler a business process can be designed with a graphical interface. All changes to the business model can be deployed during runtime. This makes it very easy to design and change workflows in a running system. Imixs workflow runs on any JEE6 compliant application and web server. Also the new JEE6 web profile is now fully supported.

Imixs Workflow is an open source project with provides an open community platform for discussion and development. The results of the project are provided under the GPL with a dual-license model, to meet the usage and distribution requirements of different types of users. For OEMs, ISVs, and VARs who distribute Imixs Workflow with their products, and do not license and distribute their source code under the GPL, Imixs Workflow provides a flexible Commercial License.
