The Motorola Admiral XT603 is a solid phone built to work. With iDEN push to talk features, Military Spec 810G, 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor and Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, this phone is ready for anything. It's also the first smart phone on the Sprint network that runs on their CDMA network instead of the slower iDEN network. Designed like a Blackberry, individuals switching over to the Android market won't find it difficult to transition. The 3.1 inch display is fantastic, with 480x640 pixels packed into it. The display is also a touch screen and is very responsive, opening apps immediately with the touch. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass covering the display, making it scratch resistant. The keyboard has a great design, with the keys easy to find and a very tactical response when you push a key. When you push a key, you only have to push it so much and then the key finishes the signal for you, making it extremely easy to type quickly.

The Admiral has all of the standard smart phone features, including Bluetooth, mobile hot spot for up to 5 devices, GPS, Wi-Fi, DLNA support, QuickOffice Suite, and personal/corporate email support. The multimedia player has a few added features that makes it better than the stock Android music player. On the back of the Admiral is a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video capture. The phone comes with 4GB of internal storage, however, if you want to use your phone as an MP3 player, you'll want to increase the memory card size. Running on top of Android Gingerbread is Motorola Blur, which Motorola has improved to make it much more user friendly and easy to organize your home pages. The call quality is great and the push-to-talk feature is consistent and clear.
