Local Agency Helps Clients Achieve National Recognition

Utah (I-Newswire) May 12, 2011 - Logan, Utah¬¬–Utah residents and twin sisters Kris and Kim appeared on the Nate Berkus Show in November and The Rachel Ray Show in April and impressed the viewers with their do-it-yourself craft skills. The Utah natives began working with Advent Creative in the fall of 2009 to develop a website and online mini-series called The DIY Dish. The sisters approached Advent Creative because they wanted to create something even bigger than their existing, wildly successful blogging ventures. After attending blogging conferences and receiving encouragement from their peers to appear on video, they were ready to take the next step.

“We knew we had to do it right.” Said Kim, “We didn’t want to do it half way.”

“Go big or go home.” Kris added.

Advent Creative helped the DIY Dish develop a brand, including a new logo and website. Kim and Kris provided the entertaining chemistry on camera while Advent Creative directed and produced webisodes.

As a result, the DIY Dish has garnered attention from across the nation and is continuing to expand. They are currently midway through season three.

Another client, Where Women Cook was mentioned in The New Yorker on May 6, 2011. The article highlights blogger Ree Drummond who refers to herself as the “Pioneer Woman” and was featured on the inaugural issue of Where Women Cook. Advent Creative helped create a new brand, community and website for Where Women Cook based on the existing publication Where Women Create.
