KC 500 Presented By Montra: Cycling for a Cause
Montra presented a cycling event a distance of 500 kilometres from Chennai to Kodaikanal with Montra brand ambassador Karun Chandhok. This event organized for fund collecting of supporting "school and education".
Online, January 10, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Karun Chandhok the ace F1 racer and brand ambassador of brand Montra is cycling a distance of 500 kilometres from Chennai to Kodaikanal in under 3 days on the Montra bicycle for the following causes (1) the Vishnu Devananda Charitable Trust run by Karun's family to educate children and rebuild homes and (2) Madras Midtown Roundtable - 42 foundation, a charitable trust to support school and educational projects.
To honor this cause, Mr Karun Chandok and Mr Ramkumar Ramanathan facilitated by handing over the initial contribution, a sum of Rs.1 lac collected by the KC500 team to the Principal of the Government School, Palikaranai. This event took place on 4th Jan 2014 at the center court @ Chennai Open 2014.
Also Karun Chandok gifted the tennis star Mr.Ramkumar Ramanathan a Montra Rock 1.1 cycle to encourage the star and to honor him on his good performance in the Chennai Open tournament.
'KC 500 presented by Montra' ride commences on 19th January 2014 and concludes in Kodi on 22nd January 2014. To support the cause and encourage cycling for fitness, we have a mass start for the event where anyone can register to cycle for the first 30 kms on 19th January along with Karun and other celebrities.
