District Judge James Bixler reduced Billy Eckstine McCurdy's bail from $250,000 to $115,000 and said if the pastor posted the bond, he could return to his church, the Revival Temple Church of God in Christ.

Breaking News From The Preacher Bureau Of Investigations - Pastor McCurdy will get release from Jail within the next 24 hours.

A District Court judge on Thursday reduced the bail for a Las Vegas Pastor Billy McCurdy and ordered him not to work with anyone under 21, according to court records.

As reported by court reporter Francis McCabe of Las Vegas Review-Journal Pastor McCurdy is only hours away from being released on Bail.

"District Judge James Bixler reduced Billy Eckstine McCurdy's bail from $250,000 to $115,000 and said if the pastor posted the bond, he could return to his church, the Revival Temple Church of God in Christ at the intersection of Tonopah and Vegas drives.

The pastor's attorney, Garrett Ogata, said family and church members had the money to post bond. McCurdy was expected to be released either late Thursday or early today.

Ogata unsuccessfully sought to have McCurdy released on house arrest, according to court records. McCurdy pleaded not guilty last week to six counts of felony sexual assault and five counts of open or gross lewdness, a gross misdemeanor."

A spokes person for the Preacher Bureau says he had a gut feeling that the Police may have rushed to judgment in apprehending Church of God in Christ Pastor Billy McCurdy.

"We were one of the first online sites to break the story but decided to minimize the coverage until we received all of the facts. Even in limited coverage of the events surrounding the arrest of Pastor McCurdy we made it a point to inform our audience of the issues involving the accusers. It appears that this case is falling apart and we will do our part to cover the details of what appears to by shabby Police work that has resulted in the destruction of Pastor McCurdy's reputation."

One of the victims has retracted his story and said he misled investigators because he was angry with Pastor McCurdy over being publicly reprimanded regarding a church-related issue. The creditability of the second victim is now being questioned because he is now in jail facing charges related to evading a police officer.

On October 8, 2010 Pastor McCurdy was charged with 11 Counts Sexual Assault Involving Teenage Boys. According to The Las Vegas Sun, Pastor McCurdy was charged with five counts of sexual assault and 6 counts open or gross lewdness.

According to a statement e-mailed by church spokeswoman Trish Williamson she pointed out that Pastor McCurdy may be a victim of false arrest.

"Pastor McCurdy is a victim of false arrest, slander and harassment. In a rush to judgment, the North Las Vegas Police Department, the grand jury and the media took the word of two members of the Revival Temple Church to indict and arrest an innocent person without any substantial evidence," according to a statement e-mailed by church spokeswoman Trish Williamson. The two who made the allegations are in their 20s and are not teenagers as police have said."

It now appears that Pastor McCurdy may have a leg to stand on when it comes to false arrest and the rush to judgment by the media. As the Preacher Bureau of Investigations received word of the possibly of Pastor McCurdy's release we were reminded of a statement published on www.PimpPreacher.com by KTNV Action News in Las Vegas who arrived on the scene the day of the arrest.

"Pastor McCurdy is a victim of false arrest, slander, and harassment. In a rush to judgment, the North Las Vegas Police Department, grand jury, and the media took the word of two disgruntled members of the Revival Temple to indict and accuse an innocent person without any substantial evidence."

After Pastor McCurdy successfully defends himself against these criminal charges, civil attorneys are going to lick their chops at the opportunity represent the Pastor in an epic law suit. There may be hope for Bishop Eddie Long after all.
