Intermediate Yoga Course Offered At Leading Yoga Retreat In California

Grass Valley (I-Newswire) October 16, 2012 - The Yoga program is ideal for those who want to deepen their yoga practice. This course offers a full yogic experience, reviewing and expanding upon concepts such as yoga asanas, breathing exercises, meditation, mantra chanting and yoga philosophy. Participants will be immersed in the daily routine of yoga and will experience wholesome vegetarian meals. After the intensive week, practitioners will leave rested and refreshed with the basic knowledge of how to continue to practice at home.

About the instructor
Shakti took her TTC in 2007 at the Yoga Farm. Since that time she has been in service to the Sivananda organization serving as full-time staff in various Sivananda ashrams and centers, and a devoted karma yogi on various projects. She holds a Master of Public Health degree and is extremely interested in applying yoga techniques in developing a positive outlook to life. Her speciality in yoga is assisting Durga Leela with Yoga of Recovery Courses.
The Yoga Farm also offers a Yoga teacher training course in California and Vietnam. This program was designed by the renowned Swami Vishnu-devananda. It is an intensive immersion in Yoga, balanced between theory and practice. Students come from different backgrounds and cultures and live harmoniously together in a spiritual community under the guidance of teachers.
