Innovation Summit Hosts West Coast Book Launch for Philadelphia CEO

'@DrJanice: Thoughts & Tweets on Leadership, Teamwork & Teamability®' is "…a guaranteed good read for anyone who has ever worked anywhere." Dr. Janice Presser's newest book launches at CCE 2013, a conference on the adoption of innovative technology.

Dr. Janice Presser, CEO of the Gabriel Institute and co-inventor of the technology behind Teamability®, is launching her new book, @DrJanice: Thoughts & Tweets on Leadership, Teamwork, & Teamability, in connection with her appearance as a featured speaker at Connected Enterprise 2013, in Half Moon Bay, California. CCE is an international conference on the social, business, and economic impact of innovative technology.

As the book's title suggests, @DrJanice presents thirty of Dr. Presser's short pieces on the title topics, grouped into three sections. Each chapter opens with relevant comments and tweets by the author, who has been active in blogging and tweeting since these communication channels first appeared. Although this is Dr. Presser's first business-oriented book, her credentials as an author include five books released by Knopf, Ballantine, and other major publishers.

@DrJanice is filled with good advice, witty observations, and keen satire on job-hunting, careers, and business in general, but the underlying message is that a better understanding of teamwork can make every aspect of work more rewarding. Praise for the book - and for the author's invention of Teamability® - is plentiful.

"Dr. Janice is a constant source of inspiration and education; I learn something new with each candor-filled post and tweet. I'm not the only one who considers Dr. Janice a premier mentor and colleague. Her presence in the #InternPro community is widely felt; our young careerists love her direct style, sincerity and passion for helping others create a fulfilling career and life."
Mark Babbitt, CEO, YouTern.com

"Teamability is like having the answer key to a million-piece organizational puzzle, and it exists because Dr. Presser cares so deeply about helping people discover positive connections to work, and to other people."
R "Ray" Wang, Principal Analyst & Chairman, Constellation Research

Dr. Presser, a behavioral scientist, is widely regarded as a thought-leader in the fields of talent science and team management. Her creation, Teamability, addresses the rising demand for ways to select, develop, and maintain healthy teaming cultures that "make the workplace a better place to work" while producing real business value.
