According to the Competition Success Review - Global Human Resources Development Centre's overall ranking of the top B-Schools in India in the areas of Excellence, IMT Nagpur is at No. 7. The ranking was arrived at after the institute was judged on the following criteria:

· Faculty, Publication, Research, Consultancy, MDP and other Programmes
· Placement (National and International, USP, Social Responsibility, Networking and Industry Interface
The ranking indicates that Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur has gained the reputation of a quality business education provider.
