Hot Home News From TopTenRealEstateDeals.Com: 1800's First Lady, NYC Dangling Crane & Sheryl Crow

Every week, TopTenRealEstateDeals.com delivers the latest scoop on today's hot real estate news. Celebrity, historic, famous homes and much more. Their web features have been covered by Time, CNBC, USA Today and many other major media.

This week's Top 10 homes spotlight at TopTenRealEstateDeals.com includes the home of Harriet Lane, who was the Jackie Kennedy of the 1800s. She was the first in many of the things we take for granted with First Ladies of today. She was the first to become a pop culture icon, she wore scandalously low-cut dresses, her hair and clothing styles set trends and thousands of female children were named after her. Harriet's childhood home with cucumber pump, smoke house and summer kitchen is for sale at $649,900.

In other home news:

It seems that New York's One57 condo project has become the poster child for The Great Storm of 2012 and is receiving worldwide publicity for the construction crane that has been dangling precariously above West 57th Street. But with some of the world's richest 1% already lining up to pay big money to buy there, it is publicity they probably don't need or want. One57's new owners are Global Billionaire Club folks from the United States, China, Canada, Nigeria and England. One has to be a billionaire to afford the duplex penthouse on the 89th and 90th floors that is under contract for over $95 million. Pricing on the remaining units run from $7 to $50 million. Less than 40 of the 92 units remain unsold.

Sheryl Crow has been very busy. She just finished a new album, released a controversial new song Woman in the White House, and was recently questioned by the FBI about ex-fiancee Lance Armstrong's doping charges. She is also selling her Hollywood Hills 11-acre spread with three separate homes including a Spanish Revival, a 1909 Craftsman, and a cottage built in 1885. Sheryl is asking $16 million.
