H.R.H. Prince Henrik of Denmark is part of the worldwide launch of Mil-tek’s new recycling solution. Mil-tek is a leading international company that specializes in the supply of balers and waste presses.

Ashburn, Va (I-Newswire) June 7, 2011 - Mil-tek, a leader in global environmental solutions, hosted Henrik, H.R.H. The Prince Consort of Denmark at their new American Headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia today.

The Prince was part of the worldwide launch of Mil-tek’s new recycling solution.

H.R.H. Prince Henrik lead the debut and demonstration of Mil-tek’s innovative polystyrene reducer the EPS 1800. Polystyrene is large, cumbersome packaging material that takes up excessive amounts of space in the waste stream and doesn’t break down in landfills. By compacting and recycling Polystyrene with Mil-tek’s machine a company can reduce its existing waste costs by up to 80% and compact the material at a 40 to one ratio.

“I have always had a vision of bringing these products to America,” said Kristian Skannerup, Mil-tek Worldwide Owner and Founder. “We are honored that His Royal Highness joined us to unveil our latest innovative solution, the EPS 1800. In addition to our line of balers, Mil-tek continues to provide solutions at the source of waste that saves funds, resources and time for companies around the world. ”

Bryan Wingfield, Mil-tek USA’s President and CEO added, “Having His Royal Highness focus on our company and demonstrate Mil-tek’s product during the Danish Royal Visit to the U.S. sends a positive message about the future of our company. Already, we are seeing a tremendous impact among our U.S. clients, including large consumer stores, schools, malls and restaurants across the region.”

Mil-tek, which was founded by Skannerup in 1992 and based in Denmark, has recently chosen Ashburn, Virginia as its American headquarters and major distribution center for the company’s dynamic expansion plans as it brings business and environment friendly baling and compacting solutions to the United States.
