Flamenco & classical guitarist David Cohen of Philadelphia tours the open mic scene in Chicago October 14 -17, 2013.
David Cohen has developed his career by taking classical and flamenco guitar to places that usually dont expect the music. That mission continues during the week of October 14 through 17, 2013 when David Cohen will tour some of the local open mics in the Chicago metropolitian area. Cohens journey into the mid-west will be his first time introducing his music to the area and will mix sets with both traditionaland original flamenco.
Cohens CD-David Cohen: Guitar is a collection of guitar pieces Cohen wrote in memory to his wife Tatyana whom theyve lost to ovarian cancer. Portions of the profits from the sale of the CD are donated to the Friends of Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
