Cincinnati, OH (I-Newswire) December 12, 2011 - FirstLight HomeCare, a provider of professional, non-medical in-home care services, is pleased to announce the addition of Shirley Weber and Dan Roberts to its corporate team as directors of business development and team support.

Shirley Weber has over 13 years of experience in the home care industry, having been a partner in and operated Houston’s largest and most successful senior home care company for eight years, with five additional years spent running her own successful home care consultant practice, working with independents and franchise systems alike with a solid track record of success. Weber has the business acumen and entrepreneurial experience to guide and support FirstLight franchisees, enabling their success. Based out of Houston, Texas, Weber will support FirstLight franchisees in the western half of the country.

“Shirley is a seasoned, customer service-driven professional and we’re thrilled to have someone of her caliber on our team,” said Jeff Bevis, president and CEO. “Having provided home care services to the elderly and their families in the past, she understands and relates to FirstLight’s mission of providing quality care and service.”

Dan Roberts has 10 years of experience in various business development roles, including consultancy, for a number of emerging companies. As a Six Sigma practitioner, Roberts’ ability to identify new business opportunities, develop new markets, products and partnerships, and his strategic analytical skills make him an ideal asset to FirstLight’s corporate team. Dan is based out of Charlotte, N.C. and will support franchisees in the eastern half of the country.

“We’re confident that Dan’s extensive leadership skills and track record of achieving results will be a major contributor to the continued expansion and growth of our company,” said Bevis.

In their new positions, Weber and Roberts will be responsible for the pre-training, pre-opening and grand opening processes and initial launch of all franchisees. In a support role, they will continually coach, guide and enable franchise business growth in meeting or exceeding new and existing owner targets set by the franchisor. Additionally, they will be responsible for reinforcing the operating system, developing and maintaining brand consistency, establishing and leading networking initiatives and all other leadership required to drive results and achieve goals.
