Urban, pop music artist Shan Rob made her debut in the fashion world this past Saturday. Derek, owner of Dirty Shirty, extended an invitation for Shan Rob to participate in her first photo shoot with his extremely popular clothing brand.

Atlanta (I-Newswire) October 22, 2012 - Urban, pop music artist Shan Rob made her debut in the fashion world this past Saturday. Derek, owner of Dirty Shirty, extended an invitation for Shan Rob to participate in her first photo shoot with his extremely popular clothing brand. The shoot took place in Cabbage Town, an eclectic area near Downtown Atlanta, where they could take advantage of the eye-catching scenery. Dirty Shirty was created in 2005 catering to men and women of the pop culture. The brand consists of t-shirts, tank tops, hats and hoodies. Dirty Shirty is known for their clever t-shirt designs and phrases, as well as their models with eccentric tattoos. Shan Rob was the perfect match for this quirky, unconventional brand as she holds the same attributes. This is the first of many photo shoots to come with Dirty Shirty featuring Shan Rob. About Shan Rob:
Shan Rob is a native of Atlanta where she attended North Atlanta High School of Performing Arts in 2002. Shan joined the band where she played the flute and piccolo and she also participated in the dance magnet for their ballet, modern, jazz, and hip hop programs.

At the age of 15 she attended an audition for a local teen rap group looking for back-up dancers. She made the audition and immediately started touring with the rap group. In 2005, she went back to high school where she graduated with her class. Upon graduating, Shan continued to tour with other artist such as Ciara, Teairra Mari, Sammie, Latoya Luckett, Neyo and many more.

Touring with those seasoned artists inspired Shan to put all of her talents to use. She decided that she wanted to become an urban/pop artist. Shan applied everything she learned from touring around the world as a professional dancer and her experiences from high school and went straight to the studio. She aspired to create a sound that’s innovative, energetic, dance driven, fun and stylish. She wanted to showcase her versatility, free sprit and edgy attitude.

Shan describes her sound as “Sup3r R3tro Futur3” + “Blow Pop”. “Blow Pop is a girly girl…it’s the chewy bubblegum in the center of a lollipop surrounded by a flavorful hard candy shell which is the tomboy edge. Whenever you reach inside of a Blow Pop bag you never know which flavor you are going to get, but the one thing you do know is its going to be ‘Sweet and Tasty’.
