Deal Current Network Launches Take Back Local to Help Small Business Owners with Online Marketing in Partnership with Local Media Publishers

"Take Back Local is on a mission to teach every San Diego small business owner online marketing techniques."

San Diego, CA (I-Newswire) February 12, 2013 - Organized by Deal Current Network, Take Back Local is a grassroots outreach program, teaching small business owners how to profit from online advertising. The organization is hosting three free 90-minute seminars on 2/28, 3/29, and 4/26 from 9-11am at the One America Plaza, where attendees will learn strategies, clear actions, and tracking methods to take their business to the next level. Take Back Local understands that profitable small businesses create jobs and fuel the economy, but fall short when it comes to profiting from online advertising. The program is partnered with NBC7 San Diego, Get1Free, San Diego Magazine, San Diego 6 CW, and over a half dozen other publishers.

Co-Founder and CEO of Deal Current Network, Jimmy Hendricks will show attendees how to leverage loyalty programs, trade for advertising, and the San Diego Coupon Network for their business. Hendricks is a 2010, 2011, and 2012 San Diego Business Journal Most Admired CEO and San Diego Daily Transcript Top Influential nominee. He has been noted or quoted in Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, MediaPost, Kiplinger, San Diego Business Journal, Crain's Chicago Business, and more. Hendricks has previously presented at industry conferences across the U.S. including: BIA/Kelsey, CommNexus, San Diego's Young Entrepreneurs Conference, and UCLA's Entrepreneurs Conference.

"After founding Deal Current Network and working with over 10,000 local businesses in the last two years, we realized that the majority of small business owners really had no idea how to market their business online. Take Back Local's goal is to educate business owners on the key basics to online marketing, because if they succeed we succeed. Right now we are starting in San Diego, but we plan to expand the Take Back Local seminars in other U.S. markets later this year."- Jimmy Hendricks, Co-Founder and CEO of Deal Current Network
