CMC Government Supply's Team Wendy Helmets Are Strong Enough For Tactical Officers, Cool Enough For Snowboarders

Team Wendy's new Exfil Lightweight Tactical Polymer helmets are comfortable to wear, minimal enough to not interfere with vision, and strong enough to guard against concussion.

CMC Government Supply carries Team Wendy's new Exfil Lightweight Tactical Polymer (LTP) helmet, making it available to anyone who needs a lightweight sturdy bump helmet. Team Wendy has designed the Exfil LTP for members of the military, including combat search and rescue teams, airborne teams, and anywhere rugged lightweight equipment is a priority. The helmets are also well-suited to extreme climbers, skiers, and snowboarders.

While providing full protection, the helmet is high-cut to allow room for communications equipment and there are access points for front bungees to hold headsets or night vision goggles. A machined aluminum mounting shroud on the helmet's front firmly secures cameras or lights. Mounting slots and Magpul Picatinny rails on the helmet's sides accept a variety of accessories. Rear slots are positioned so heavier equipment won't pull the helmet forward. The Exfil LTP uses cam-lock sliders to allow one-handed adjustment and a Boa® Closure System makes loosening and tightening as easy as turning a dial.

Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Team Wendy has manufactured padded helmet liners for the U.S. military and has conducted extensive research on minimizing traumatic brain injuries. Team Wendy is named after Dan T. Moore's daughter, who died in 1997 from a traumatic brain injury following a skiing accident. In addition to helmets, Team Wendy also manufactures helmet retention systems, protective flooring for boats and vehicles, and polyurethane training plates to simulate ballistic plates.
