Bazaarstuff.com Classified Listings Website Launches - New Marketplace Website Targets College Students

Brothers and recent graduates from Baylor University, Noah and Marc Mortel seek to alleviate the financial struggles of college students with the launching of Bazaarstuff.com. Not only geared towards students, Bazaarstuff.com is open to anyone.

With diploma in hand, two brothers and recent graduates of Baylor University set out with one goal: to help their fellow students get access to cheap stuff.

This was the goal behind the development and launch of the free classified listings website, Bazaarstuff.com. Unlike existing classified sites, Bazaarstuff.com targets college students and offers them the ability to search within college networks as well as by location.

"With rising college fees, I know firsthand how hard it was financially to get through college," said Marc Mortel, Vice President and Co-founder of Bazaarstuff.com, who himself walked across the stage at graduation just weeks ago. "From textbooks to apartments to internships, Bazaarstuff.com is a convenient, free marketplace that provides everything a student needs."

With a record 19 million students attending colleges around the country in 2010 according to the U.S. Department of Education*, college students represent a large demographic to be served by an online marketplace designed with them in mind. While students are at the core of target demographic, Bazaarstuff.com is open to anyone. "This website is completely free to post and search listings," said Noah Mortel, CEO and co-founder of Bazaarstuff.com. "It's a tight time for everyone now, Bazaarstuff.com lets you search out those amazing bargains and find that perfect job all in one marketplace."

Addressing the communication needs of a younger crowd, Bazaarstuff.com also features a user friendly interface that includes a comment system for any quick questions, responses, and bargaining along with accompanying email notifications to these comments.

"It's not a bizarre idea, it's just a great online bazaar," said Noah Mortel. "We're excited about the opportunity to offer a marketplace that can help college students and others find great deals and great jobs."
