When Ballybunion Golf Club needed new state-of-the-art technology to manage every aspect of the club's business, they turned to the NFS Technology Group to provide the solution.
Ballybunion is Ireland's premier golfing destination, ranked among the top three clubs in the country and top 25 in the world. With its prime location on the South West coast, it boasts stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding countryside, together with a magnificent golf course.
Couple the panoramic view with great food and drink, a busy clubhouse full of golfers and groups from across the world, and it's easy to see why the club is adored by the thousands who play there every year.
But with the rapid changes in today's golf world, the bespoke software used until recently to manage membership, point of sale and tee times wasn't giving the functionality required to take the club forward.

The solution chosen was NFS' IBS integrated club management solution, already in use at leading golf clubs worldwide, including prestigious venues like The London Club and St Andrews Links Trust, as well as smaller clubs like Hadley Wood in Hertfordshire.

Ballybunion's IBS integrated club management system will go live at the end of October, allowing the club's reservations team to start taking visitor bookings for 2012.
