Analysis of Text Processing Function of GstarCAD2012 Extended Version

Comparing to professional text processing software such as Word, the text function of CAD software is not very powerful. So, many designers have to complete the text processing by other software. 1. TextMatch

When designers are using CAD software, the styles of texts are often different. Especially when the texts are copied from other documents, the styles are possibly much different from what designers expected. In Word, users often choose “Format Painter” to match styles of the texts. But most of CAD software doesn’t have the function of “Format Painter”.

2. TextAlign

For this reason, GstarCAD2012 Extended Version provides the ChangeText tool; it allows users to batch revise multiple texts. For example, this function can modify the alignment, height, width, position, rotation, style and content of several texts simultaneously. It greatly improves the efficiency of single text and Mtext modifications.
