Actor Jade Esteban Estrada Pays Visit to Young Actors at Summer Acting Camp

Acclaimed multimedia star Jade Esteban Estrada participates as a guest panelist at PrimaDonna Productions Summer Acting Camp 2010

Singer/comedian Jade Esteban Estrada, who is perhaps best known for his highly-acclaimed solo theatre shows which include, "Tortilla Heaven" and "ICONS," paid a visit to the 2010 Summer Acting Camp at PrimaDonna Productions in San Antonio, Texas on Friday, June 11, 2010 to serve as a guest panelist for the end of session showcase.

Estrada graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York and was the artistic director of the Experiencia Dance Company at New York's Teatro La Tea. He was recently praised for his theatrical work in the book "Icons of Latino America: Latino Contributions to American Culture, Vol. 1" by Roger Burns. He is quoted in "Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard: Plays in Production" by James N. Loehlin and "The Dance Information Sourcebook" by Cheryl Lynn Obel.

His television credits include seen on "30 Rock" (NBC), "The Graham Norton Effect" (Comedy Central) and was the host of the 19th Annual South Florida GLAAD Media Awards (Bravo). His Latin music can be heard on the Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning police drama "The Shield."

Estrada is a judge for the Drama Teachers Association of Southern California (DTASC) and is a guest artist for the Delaware Institute for the Arts in Education.

"He connects with actors so quickly and personally. The young acting students got quite a lot of tips from him in the short time he spoke with them," stated filmmaker Erik Bosse, who also served on the guest panel.

"The feedback I received from my talent was nothing less than exceptional. The information he presented was invaluable and his professionalism was both impressive and contagious. He provided a great example of what a performer should be," raves Annette Romo-Schaffer, founder of the San Antonio-based Rome Talent Agency.

Estrada will hold his Musical Theatre Master Class on July 17, 2010 in San Antonio. The all-day workshop is open to all ages.
