9XO Associates with Songdew for Promoting Independent Music Videos
Songdew has joined hands with India's most popular International music channel 9XO in order to bring the one time opportunity for independent singers and bands to feature their music on the channel for a whole month.

LTD on 24th April 2012. It is the 6th music channel of the 9X group targeted at urban youth. It plays English and International songs from around the world.

Songdew joins hands with 9XO to promote the music videos of independent artists and bands through 9XO - I'm On Contest. Only selected bands from India will get a chance to air their music videos on 9XO throughout the month. The music videos of the selected band/artist will be aired on India's most popular music channel every day for a whole month. What's even better is that the tracks of the band/artist get promoted on Songdew network, as well. This is a onetime opportunity that musicians cannot afford to miss.
The participating band/artist has to upload or embed its video on the Songdew profile page, and the best video will be picked at the end of the month to be aired on 9XO for the entire coming month. Contestants can upload multiple videos, as all the videos will be considered for the contest. The bands/artists, however, will be selected by the Songdew editorial team and 9XO programming team and the decision of the 9XO programming team will stand final.
Conditions for Participation
The contest is open for all independent bands and artists having English music videos. Willing participants must confirm their participation by 25th April 2014, and the results will be declared by 30th April 2014.The bands / artists must upload the videos in compliance with the usage policy and terms of Songdew. The winners will be contacted through mail at the end of the contest.
