Young Entrepreneur Embarks on 30k Challenge After Fatal Road Accident and Friend Injured by IED

Charlotte Hogg embarks on 30k challenge on the 12th anniversary of tragic and fatal road accident and 2nd anniversary of close friend being injured in Afghanistan.

Charlotte Hogg who is a young entrepreneur, published author and respected public speaker, has an unusual and painful relationship with August 21st.

As a teenager, she was involved in a fatal coach crash whilst on holiday with her pals in the air cadets and at the tender age of 15 gained first hand experience of death, serious injury and suicide. Ten years later, on exactly the same day, her best friend stepped on an IED whilst serving in Afghanistan as a Royal Marine.

Last year, August 21st saw Charlotte mentally and physically unhealthy. Her business was in jeopardy and her role in life unclear. Just one year later, she has turned her life around and will be running 30k to raise 30k to charities close to her heart with the support of friends, family, colleagues and celebrities.

Charlotte is sharing her physical and mental journey in a hope inspire and empower others to achieve their impossible, raise awareness of mental illness and keep the memory of the friends she has lost alive.
