ADDIE'S BABY ART & DESIGN STUDIO will celebrate its grand opening during this year's annual South Carolina Pecan Festival.

Florence, SC (I-Newswire) October 1, 2012 - Each year, historical downtown Florence comes alive with the sights, sounds and savors of the South Carolina Pecan Festival. This year’s event scheduled for Saturday, November 3rd is no exception. The event attracts over 50,000 attendees, and Winter Moore, owner of Addie’s Baby Art & Design Studio, is hoping many of them will be drawn to the studio’s grand opening that day.

The studio is located in the heart of downtown across from Jebaily Law Firm at the corner of Evans Street and Coit Street. Festival goers visiting Addie’s Baby Art & Design Studio will experience a live, visual body paint art show with models painted and displayed as art pieces in the expansive picture windows of the studio. Neo-soul artist Rebekah Mashe’l will be there performing live, and there will be a wine tasting that evening from 9pm-12am.

Opening the studio to share her art and help others discover their artistic talent has been more than just a dream for this South Carolina State University grad … it has been a mission. Encouraged by her mother, Addie J. Moore to "Do your own thing," Winter began producing her own art shows and laying the foundation for Addie’s Baby Art & Design Studio. Winter’s sold out events have been used to showcase her talent and to increase cancer awareness in honor of the memory of her mother who battled pancreatic cancer.

Addie’s Baby Art & Design Studio will offer drawing, painting and graphic design classes including: "The Human Form" figure drawing classes and "Artistry Soul Night" where students learn to paint portraits, listen to live music and sip a glass of wine. As with Winter’s art shows, a percentage of the proceeds of all "Artistry Soul Night" classes will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Addie’s Baby Art & Design Studio is located at 290 West Evans Street, Florence, SC 29501. Business hours are 10am-6pm, Monday through Friday, and 10am-3pm on Saturday beginning November 3rd.
