Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath Brings Yoga to International Audiences
Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath has condensed a lifetime of teaching, on the subject of kriya yoga, into a new book—and he’s celebrating it with an expansive world tour.
Houston, TX (I-Newswire) June 19, 2012 - Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath has spent more than four decades teaching on the subjects of meditation and kriya yoga. Now, people around the world can take advantage of those teachings—in more ways than one. Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath has recently released an acclaimed new book, which condenses his entire lifetime of teachings into a single volume; he has also taken those teachings on the road, embarking on a major world tour that will include stops in Europe and America, and last for the duration of the summer and into the autumn season.
It is hardly the first time that Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath has taken his teachings to such wide, diverse groups of people. Though he got his start as a teacher in the Himalayan region, he has since traveled the world, and authored numerous books, released to international acclaim. Additionally, Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath has developed a popular YouTube channel, and even presented his teachings from the floor of the United Nations.
His teachings have long centered on the ancient practice of kriya yoga, a form of yoga that is both more rigorous and, according to Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath, more rewarding than the more familiar, Western forms of yoga. His teachings on yoga also form the basis of his most recent book, Babaji: The Lightning Standing Still. Already sold out of its first run of hardcover editions, Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath characterizes the just-released book as his “life’s work.”
The book also serves as the foundation for his new world tour. Commenced in April, in his native city of Pune, India, the tour will continue for the rest of the summer, and take Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath into major cities throughout Europe and the United States.
In keeping with the focus of the book, the world tour will mostly center on the practice of kriya yoga, something that Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath will illuminate for his audiences and listeners in a variety of intensive, multi-day yoga workshops. Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath is not only considered to be one of the preeminent proponents of kriya yoga, but he is, in fact, one of the only remaining kriya yoga masters in the world.
For further information concerning the tour, including a list of the remaining tour dates, interested individuals can visit the author’s website, http://www.siddhanath.org. The website has registration information, as well as information about the book, the practice known as kriya yoga, and Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath himself.
