Xtreme Frozen Yogurt Partners with Toys for Tots to Serve More than a Cup-Full of Holiday Cheer

(I-Newswire) November 16, 2009 - Carlsbad and Murrieta, Calif. – Xtreme Frozen Yogurt (XFY), a neighborhood frozen yogurt shop serving up an ‘xtreme’ customer experience while supporting the local community, is teaming up with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to collect toys for children who otherwise may not receive presents this year. To encourage toy donations, the Carlsbad and Murrieta stores will host celebration parties with free yogurt for the entire community if each store collects at least 150 toys before the December 18 pick-up deadline.

“Xtreme is about more than just quality frozen yogurt; we are dedicated to supporting the community and Toys for Tots is a concept that everyone can rally together for,” said Wayne Bosna, president, Xtreme Frozen Yogurt. “We encourage everyone to bring a new, unwrapped toy to one of our store locations as a way to give back and come together as a community this holiday season.”

Toy collection boxes provided by Toys for Tots will be at Xtreme Frozen Yogurt in Carlsbad (2659 Gateway Rd, Suite D107) and Murrieta (27890 Clinton Keith Rd, Suite C) from November 16 – December 18. Only new, unwrapped toys will be accepted. All donors will also receive triple stamps on their XFY frequent buyer cards. A total of nine stamps rewards customers with a free frozen yogurt cup of any size with any toppings.

Throughout all seasons, Xtreme Frozen Yogurt is committed to giving back, which is why the frozen yogurt shops donate five percent of all sales to the Habitat for Humanity charities through the Jimmie Johnson Foundation.
