WOW Memories co-founders, Jasmine Fernandez and Hannah Fernandez, were invited to attend the Rita Hayworth Gala for the Alzheimer's Association earlier this month. The duo not only attended the May 11th event, but donated a piece of WOW art to be auctioned off at the event's silent auction. As event volunteers, Hannah and Jasmine personally greeted and welcomed the gala's 929 guests. The artwork along with the other items at the silent auction helped the gala raise a record amount of $1.5 Million in support of this cause.

The exclusive event was held to help raise both awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research. The WOW founders were asked to participate in the event and revealed that they were proud to support such an important global cause. The record contributions came from both private donations and silent auction items such as the exclusive WOW Memories artwork that the company donated to the event. The photo was unveiled in front of the gala attendees as the WOW Memories founders and other area entrepreneurs supported the event's efforts to raise money for this devastating disease.

According to recent reports, this is not the only charitable event for Alzheimer's disease that the WOW founders will be attending either. After their successful contributions to the Rita Hayworth Gala, Hannah and Jasmine along with fellow co-founder Christopher Moffatt and Jasmine's children Daniel and Hannah, will be volunteering at the Forget Me Not Days to raise money for the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. This annual event gathered volunteers such as the WOW Memories team on Friday May 17th and Saturday May 18th to raise awareness about the condition on the streets and storefronts of communities across the state of Illinois. This event is also sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association, and according to the trio of WOW Memories founders, it provides the team with another opportunity to support an important cause but the area community from which their successful company first started.
